Wayne Boehm
Director, Adventist Mission
Bio
I’ve been blessed to serve in various leadership roles within the Seventh-day Adventist Church over the past three decades — from various ministry roles in the local church to youth ministry in Victoria and Canberra to mission and media leadership across the South Pacific. Each step of the journey has deepened my love for people, my dependence on God, and my desire to see the good news of Jesus shared in ways that truly connect.
Currently, I serve as Director of Hope Channel South Pacific, where I work alongside a talented team committed to using media to bring hope into homes and hearts. Our focus has been on building meaningful connections between media and the local church, developing digital pathways for Bible study, prayer, and discipleship, and supporting the wider mission of the Church across the region.
Before this, I served as Executive Secretary for the Trans Pacific Union Mission, and earlier as President in both the Solomon Islands Mission and the Tasmanian Conference. My background also includes youth ministry and pastoral work—formative years that still shape how I lead today.
While I’ve had the opportunity to be involved in large projects like NET 2.0 and Project Hope 2026, what motivates me most is seeing everyday people grow in faith, share their stories, and follow Jesus more deeply.
I’m always open to learning from others and exploring ways we can work together to serve a world in need of hope.

Dr Wayne Krause
Director, Global Mission
Bio
Wayne Krause is the Director for Global Mission and Mission to the Cities at the South Pacific Division (SPD).
He is very passionate about seeing people far from God becoming life long, multiplying disciples. He is known for having his “office” in a coffee shop, so he can be part of the community.
Wayne began his full time ministry as a youth pastor and then transitioned an established church to a mission focused church of predominantly young professionals. Before coming to the SPD, he along with his wife planted a church that he pastored for 18 years and that has helped birth six other churches.
Areas of interest for Wayne include: Making disciples, interacting with secular people, particularly post-Christians, Church Planting, Small Groups, and Coaching.
Wayne received his Doctor of Ministry degree in Church Planting and Leadership. He is married to the love of his life, Tracey, and they have one daughter—Jessica.

Rose Miranda
Manager, Adventist Volunteer Service
Bio
Hi, my name is Rose! With a background in Fashion Design & Marketing, being part of the Adventist Mission Team is something I never saw coming, but what an incredible blessing it is! I carry the joy of knowing I’m exactly where I’m meant to be, serving and working for the Church. The spirit of Christ is a missionary spirit, and as Adventist Volunteer Service Manager, I get the privilege of cheering on and supporting missionaries near and far as they share God’s love across the world.

Evelyn Briggen
Administrative Assistant, Adventist Mission
Bio
I love discovering new knowledge and developing new skills. I’m determined when I set my mind to something. My current goal is to help the people I work with find happiness in their work. The day I achieve that, I go home with a sense of accomplishment.
Strategy
The Seventh-day Adventist Church still sends out hundreds of cross-cultural missionaries every year—more than any other Adventist-affiliated ministry. For years most Adventists heard very little about the church’s mission work, and many thought it had died out completely.
Although the Adventist Church has experienced tremendous growth there are still many challenges in the mission field today. Adventist Mission at the World Church highlights these challenges and shows how your mission offerings meet them by helping telling the world about God’s love. Through videos, magazines, the Internet, stories and pictures, Adventist Mission is working to make mission real to Adventists around the world.
The South Pacific Division strategy is targeted at the following:
- Global Mission Study Centers
- Mission to the Cities (Auckland, Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth, Adelaide)
- Majority population – 84% of Australians believe religion is irrelevant
- Church Planting
- This year we have 27 new church plants in Australia (as of June 2025)
